Commissioned pieces are exciting and challenging. From sharing ideas, to visualizing the finished painting, to opening the paints and touching the brush to the canvas or paper, I love this process.
The easiest and most common way to create a commissioned piece is to work from a photo. It may be a favorite place or scene or occasion and can be done in either oils or watercolors.
We can designate a size for the finished work and talk about the feeling the piece should emit and even request choices of color. Most pieces range from 12" x 16" to 24" x 36" but can be completed in larger sizes too.
Have you got a great picture that would look amazing turned into a painting? Let's talk about it.
